There are no direct flights to Wakonse, but we recommend flying to either Chicago or Detroit and then connecting by air to the Muskegon, Michigan Airport. It is then a thirty minute drive north from the airport to camp (near Shelby, Michigan on your map). At the Muskegon Airport, you can either rent a car or arrange for an airport pickup. Please notify Wakonse staff to see if arrangements can be made.

If Chicago or Detroit is not an option for you, look into a flight into Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is a two hour drive from Grand Rapids to camp so you will need to rent a vehicle. We recommend making those plans well in advance.

3. Then continue North on US 31 to Muskegon, MI.
4. Take US 31 North to New Era Exit [mile marker 140]{Stony Lake Road}.
5. Take New Era Exit (M 20) and turn Left off exit (West).
6. Go approximately 7 miles West to Scenic Drive (3-Way Stop).
7. Turn Right onto Scenic Drive and follow it around to the park and Stony Lake Store.
8. At that T intersection, TURN LEFT, and follow it 350 feet and turn left into AYF/Miniwanca [before the big stone monument] and check in at the Mills Center (L-shape green building, double doors – main office).
